The federation of Uganda Employers has helped employers to manage the area of skills mis-match and shortages. This has been achieved through the preparation of a position paper which FUE presented to the ministry and the ministry used it to make several reforms. The most recent role of FUE under skills development is the TVET reform. The other reforms that FUE has spearheaded include the apprenticeship strategy and the national graduate volunteer.
